Yoga has been around for over 5000 years: it is both ancient and modern. The correct practices of yoga help us transcend the physical and mental limitations coming to an easeful state of simply being true self. This concept, I believe, is an essential element to human beings’ development. To be able to introduce practices to children and teenagers and to encourage this would be an honour and great support for them.
As well as giving them amazing posture, body strength, fitness and practical mind calming techniques, yoga can teach children of all ages to learn about themselves, how their minds develop, how they handle obstacles, how to be self-aware and compassionate to themselves and others. The most exciting part is it teaches them to trust themselves and be BRAVE and RESILIENT in all aspects of their lives. These words will resonate in every class of ours as we go on our journeys to face life’s challenges, big and small. Your children will come out of our workshops with a new sense of purpose, an ability to cope better than they have before and be curious about themselves. On top of that, they will exercise, make new friends and be part of our world of joy, fun and connection.
